Chill Guard - 55 Gallon Drum

Chill Guard is a clear, alkaline solution that primarily consists of sodium hydroxide (12%-16% by concentration) and ethanolamine (1%-5% by concentration). It also contains chelating agents, acrylate copolymers, and corrosion inhibitors, which collaborate to prevent scale and corrosion on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This easy-to-use product can be used to treat recirculating water systems such as cooling towers, air wash systems, and halogenated cooling systems.

Chill Guard Applications:

Chill Guard is a water treatment product that is safe to use in cooling towers, air wash systems, and halogenated cooling systems.
It should be used at a rate of 100 ppm, as it is highly concentrated.
It can also be utilized at an initial rate of 12-14 fluid ounces per 1,000 gallons of water and a maintenance rate of 8-10 fluid ounces per 1,000 gallons of water lost.
The chemistry of the feed water and the functional characteristics of the system should be analyzed to determine the best dosage level of Chill Guard for a particular system.
