The Benefits of Eco-Barrier

About Eco-Barrier

If you are interested in purchasing an industrial-strength house exterior cleaner, Eco-Barrier is the product for you. Eco-Barrier is a slightly acidic cleaning solution whose primary ingredients include chlorides, benzyl-C12-C16-alkyl dimethyl, quaternary ammonium compounds, and a proprietary surfactant blend (all 1%-5% by weight). It effectively expels mold, mildew, and the odors they create from a variety of outdoor surfaces. Not only that, but Eco-Barrier also prevents mold and mildew from regrowing. Additionally, it can be applied to surfaces as a post-cleaning solution after they have already been cleansed.

Benefits of Eco-Barrier

Eco-Barrier provides several benefits to its users, such as:

  • Nonflammability
  • High stability
  • Low toxicity
  • Does not require dilution before use
  • Available in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums
  • Can be used as both a cleaning and a post-cleaning solution

How to Apply Eco-Barrier

Another benefit of Eco-Barrier is that it is easy to use! Before applying Eco-Barrier to a given outdoor surface, it should be spot tested on a small portion of the surface. This is just to confirm that it will not damage the material that the surface is made of. If it passes the spot test check, it is ready to apply! Simply administer Eco-Barrier (without dilution) using a towel, sponge, or hand sprayer, then allow to dry.

How often should Eco-Barrier be reapplied? It all depends on the environment in which it is used. Specifically, humidity is an important factor, as a higher humidity will cause mold and mildew to grow back more quickly. Generally, Eco-Barrier remains effective for 6 months up to 36 months. It is a good idea to check the surface to which it has been applied periodically to ensure that mold and mildew are not regrowing.

Safety Information

Although Eco-Barrier does not pose a severe threat to human health, certain precautions should be taken when using this product, as it can cause skin and eye irritation. Please refer to Eco-Barrier’s Safety Data Sheet for detailed safety instructions before use.
