Ecolink promotes LOW VOC degreasers during Western Turbine User Group

VOC compliant degreasers on display at Western Turbine User’s Group

Meet Ecolink’s president and chemist, John Roudebush, and learn about new VOC compliant parts washing solvents and hand wipe solvents during the 2011 WTUI Conference held in Palm Springs, CA at the Palm Springs Convention Center and newly renovated Renaissance Hotel (formerly the Wyndham) from March 20 – 23, 2011. The Conference is open to all member-companies of WTUI.

VOC Compliant Parts Washing Solvents

ECOLINK 250-SS is a low VOC (22 gm/l) degreaser designed to replace P-D-680, Stoddard Solvent (also known as mineral spirits), and MIL-PRF-680 parts washer solvents. It is qualified to MIL-PRF-680C Type V. ECOLINK 250-SS is safe for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. ECOLINK 250-SS is strong enough to remove grease, fuel oil, carbon and organic resins yet safe on most painted surfaces.

Benefits

  • Excellent solvency for a wide range of soils
  • Controlled evaporation
  • Leaves no residue
  • Virtually no odor
  • Low VOC – meets stringent air quality standards and is certified to the South Coast Air Quality Clean Air Solvent Certification program.

Applications & Directions
Use undiluted. ECOLINK 250-SS works very well in a drum mounted parts washer or any immersion tank. (Not for use in high pressure enclosed cabinets.) You may also spray or wipe ECOLINK 250-SS on a surface to be cleaned. Oil, dirt and carbon will flow off surface. If additional cleaning is required, re-apply and agitate with rag or brush. To speed evaporation, use compressed air or wipe with a dry rag.
