|Safety Data Sheet|
Glycol Ether EB (also called Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether) is a colorless liquid that is frequently mixed with water and most organic solvents. Usually used in coating applications, it can also be used as a chemical intermediate for the manufacturing of esters. Also, it works as a stabilizer immiscible in metal cleaners, textile lubricants, liquid households and more.
- Excellent for coating resin types
- Excellent retarder solvent for lacquers
- Slow evaporation rate
- Low surface tension
Commonly used in aerosol coatings, aerospace coatings, and architectural coatings. Also, it works as a lubricant and is used in different types of processing such as oil or gas. Excellent for processing solvents and protective coatings. An interesting fact about Glycol Ether EB is that it can be used for soap and detergents.
