What Is the Most Powerful Degreaser?

Applying a degreaser is the best way to get out stubborn grease, oil, gum, and other tough stains from your surface.

But is there one degreasing agent that’s better than the others?

In this blog post, we’ll dive deep into the world of degreases to determine what is the most powerful degreaser.

Ready? Let’s get started.

What Is a Degreaser?

First, let’s take a closer look at what a degreaser is.

A degreaser is a type of cleaner that excels at removing stains such as:

  • Oil
  • Grease
  • Gum
  • Wax
  • Dirt
  • Corrosion
  • Dye
  • Resin
  • & more!

But why are degreasers so effective at removing these stains?

These cleaners are specially formulated with chemical compounds (solvents and surfactants) that can break down the chemical bonds of grease.

This allows the solution to penetrate through the containments and directly to the surface, dissolving the containments’ chemical bonds and allowing it to be easily wiped or cleaned away.

Not only are degreasers great at removing a variety of contaminants, they can also be applied on several different surfaces depending on the type of cleaning agent.

Can you see why these cleaners are so popular?

What Is the Most Powerful Degreaser?

Now, let’s talk about the strongest degreaser on the market.

Just like with any product, the answer to which one is ‘best’ or ‘most powerful’ is heavily debated. And when it comes to choosing the most powerful one for cutting through grease, the type of cleaner you need largely depends on the surface the contaminant is on!

For example, acetone is great at quickly removing grease from metals, but it will eat through plastic and rubber surfaces, leaving you with more damage than when you started.

At Ecolink, we believe that a powerful degreaser is one that removes grease, oil, resin, and other tough stains quickly and effectively, without causing harm to your employees or the environment.

While there are several cleaners on the market, choosing ones that contain fewer or no toxic chemicals comes with many health and environmental benefits.

At Ecolink, we offer a variety of potent, environmentally preferred degreasers to choose from. Here are our favorites for removing your toughest stains:

While the strongest degreasing solution can be debated, what’s undeniable is that these cleaners are extremely effective cleaning solutions for removing tough stains.
