The Benefits of Concrete Slayer

Looking to Remove Concrete?

As some industries know too well, concrete that has accumulated and hardened on surfaces where it is unwanted can be a huge nuisance to remove. A cleaning solution can be employed to aid in this process, but using a product that is not strong enough may lead to frustration, not to mention wasted time and money. If you can relate to this feeling, don’t worry- Concrete Slayer is here to help!

About Concrete Slayer

Concrete Slayer is an acidic cleaning solution whose main ingredient is hydrochloric acid (20%-30% by weight). It also contains carbamic acid (10%-20% by weight) and phosphoric acid (1%-5% by weight). This solution effectively removes hardened concrete from scaffolding, forms, ready-mix trucks, and other hard surfaces where concrete tends to accumulate.

The Benefits of Concrete Slayer

Concrete Slayer offers a number of benefits to users, such as:

  • Nonflammable and noncorrosive
  • Contains corrosion inhibitors that prevent surface damage
  • Safe for a variety of materials, including ferrous metals, nonferrous metals, and painted areas
  • Includes a spray wax that increases the shine of painted surfaces
  • Sold in a 5-gallon pail and a 55-gallon drum

How to Use Concrete Slayer

Should Concrete Slayer be diluted before use? And if so, to what concentration? The answers to these questions depend on the level of concrete buildup on the surface. For surfaces with light concrete buildup, Concrete Slayer should be diluted to a 1:12 concentration. For moderate concrete buildup, a 1:6 concentration should be used. For heavy concrete buildup, a 1:3 concentration is best. And finally, for severe concrete buildup, Concrete Slayer can be utilized without dilution.

In addition, Concrete Slayer is an extremely acidic solution with a pH ? 1. Therefore, the proper safety precautions must be carefully followed when working with this product. Please refer to Concrete Slayer’s Safety Data Sheet for more information.
