Daraclean 235 is an aerospace approved low foaming, all-purpose neutral cleaning solution tested and certified to meet and exceed Aerospace industry specifications for aqueous and alkaline cleaners.

OEM Certifications include Boeing and Douglas. Independent laboratory tests confirm that Daraclean 235 complies with AMS 1526, ARP 1755, and ASTM F-331, F-483, F-484, F-485, F-502, F-519, F-945, F-1110, and F-1111.

DARACLEAN® 235 COMPOSITION

DARACLEAN® 235 is formulated with a blend of surfactants, emulsifiers, and corrosion inhibitors.
It is safe to use with most metals and is non-aggressive towards aluminum, brass, copper, titanium, and zinc alloys.

DARACLEAN® 235 SOIL REJECTING PROPERTIES

DARACLEAN® 235 possesses excellent soil-rejecting qualities. After soils are lifted from part surfaces they are suspended in the cleaner for a short time. Over time, solids will settle out, and oil and grease droplets will coalesce and float on the surface of the solution. Removal of soils can easily be accomplished using filters or skimmers as necessary. This action extends the useful life of DARACLEAN® 235 much further than emulsion-type cleaning solutions.

The product has an approximate boiling point of 212°F, a vapor pressure of about 18 mmHg at 20°C, a specific gravity of approximately 1.0, an evaporation rate similar to water, and is completely soluble in water.

What safety precautions should be taken when handling Daraclean® 235?

Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective gloves and eye protection when handling. Avoid breathing spray mist if the product becomes airborne. Wash thoroughly after handling and store in a well-ventilated area between 40°F and 100°F. Do not mix with nitrites or nitrite-containing compounds.

What are the appropriate engineering controls for Daraclean® 235?

General mechanical ventilation is sufficient under normal conditions. If operations generate mist and ventilation is inadequate, appropriate respiratory protection should be used to prevent inhalation exposure.
