Propylene Carbonate also known as cyclic propylene carbonate, is an organic chemical with a high boiling point. Propylene Carbonate is produced from propylene oxide and carbon dioxide and is commonly used as a high-boiling solvent. This chemical has a low order of toxicity and it is stable. Under most conditions is not corrosive, although it is combustible at elevated temperatures.
