Looking for a Well Rounded, Approved Asphalt Extraction Solvent? Look no further!

First, Some Information About the Asphalt Extraction Process

A material called bitumen, which is a black viscous liquid used in roofing and road surfacing, is broken down during asphalt removal so that it can no longer bind and seal the asphalt aggregate material together. The loose asphalt aggregate can then then be removed and collected.

Bitumen is broken down using an asphalt extraction solvent. Asphalt extraction solvents are non-halogenated and non-toxic with no harmful petroleum distillates. It also contains completely biodegradable components. Solvents must meet AASHTO T 164 approval and be in accordance with AASHTO T 164 Method E (vacuum extraction) by producing results that agree within +/- 0.2% of a control asphalt cement content sample.
