This product is a high purity, virtually colorless and odorless synthetic alkane hydrocarbon solvent. Exxon Isopar C delivers one of the narrowest boiling ranges for hydrocarbons. Exxon Isopar C is compatible with many non-polar ingredients and has good spreadability properties. It is also a cost-effective alternative to other isoalkanes with comparable performance.
Benefits
- Essentially odorless
- Low levels of aromatic hydrocarbons to minimize risks from exposure
- Compatible with most many non-polar ingredients and most packaging materials
- Narrow boiling ranges for hydrocarbons for the optimal combination of flash point and drying time
- High chemical stability for good end-product shelf life
Applications
Use Exxon Isopar C as an industrial solvent for manufacturing process solvent, adhesives, sealants, mastics, architectural coatings, construction coatings, and traffic marking coatings.
